I have the default instance of 'localhost' setup. If I attempt to create a second instance following a similar pattern as shown in the LassoSoft screenshot, LUX attempts to crate an instance, but fails and returns an error only visible while inspecting XHR in Chrome Developer Tools:

http://localhost:8090/lasso9/lux/server/xhr/addinstance.xhr Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

Then LUX redirects to the Server Manager page.

Sometimes logging in or creating instances will fail for no obvious reason. Try creating the second instance again.
