[ string->isprint ]

Method

[String->IsPrint] checks whether a specified character within the string object is printable. If the parameter specifying the position of the character to be examined is omitted, then the default position 1 (or first character in the string object) is examined. The method returns True if the character is printable or False otherwise.

Examples

To check whether a character is printable:

Use the [String->IsPrint] method. The following example returns True since the fourth character of the string is printable.
