[ string->charname ]

Method

[String->CharName] returns the Unicode name for a specified character within the string. Requires one parameter which is the index of the character to be named.

String->charname(Position)

To return the Unicode name of a character:

Use the [String->CharName] method. The following example returns the Unicode name of the character in index position 6.
