[ string->isblank ]

Method

[String->IsBlank] checks whether a specified character within the string object is a space or tab character. If the parameter specifying the position of the character to be examined is omitted, then the default position 1 (or first character in the string object) is examined. The method returns True if the examined character is a space or tab character or False otherwise.

To check whether a character is a space or tab:

Use the [String->IsBlank] method. The following example returns False since the fourth character of the string is not a space or tab.
