[ any->isA ]

Method

[any->isA] tests if a type is of the specified type. Requires a type as a parameter.

any->isa(::type)

To test whether a type is of a specified type:

Use the [any->isA] method. The following example tests whether a thread variable is initialised, and if not then redefines it. Finally the code outputs the resulting variable.

! var(myvar)->isA(::array)
? $myvar = array('a','b','c')
$myvar

Result

array(a, b, c)
